The Salon Edit

The salon edit is a hair salon like no other. Not only is the decor to die for, the team of hairdressers are professional, friendly and of course, amazing at their job. I wont go anywhere else. My hair has never been healthier and I always feel fresh and beautiful when I leave. The added bonus of champagne and cheese will also keep me coming back. Highly recommended!!

I requested a touch up of my current balayage and a layered trim including thinning. After a consultation with the stylist we agreed on highlights and a root tint to blend the colours together as well as toner and a treatment.nnPros-nBeautiful salonnFriendly staffnnCons -nTIMEnProcess took almost *8 hours*, I've had the same treatments in salons across the UK and Sydney and it has never taken more than 4.5hrs.nI was moved from the chair to the sink several times throughout the day and often waited for other clients to be seen before next steps. Despite the long time, I wasn't given a break to get some food or take a walk.nnQUALITYnBy the time we got to the cut, the stylist rushed through and left my hair looking far from what I had asked for, there was no layering and my hair was left very heavy and damaged. Ever since I haven't been able to brush my hair when wet due to the damage and I've subsequently had to visit another salon and have a good portion of the hair cut off.nnCOSTnI was charged a total of $540 (Incl $100 deposit) and left the salon incredibly disappointed. After losing an entire day and being last priority the cut wasn't even what had been agreed upon.nnI am more than happy to pay for a great style/colouring and service but sadly I received none of these, despite charging over 30% more than other 'top' salons in the St George area.nnI will sadly not be recommending this salon to friends and family

Great service and friendly staff. I have very thick hair and they knew how to make it look great which not many hairdressers can do.
