Old school type computer workshop.nThe guy there couldn't have been more helpful, considering my enquiry wasn't computer related.nI was after a power cord.nI'd recommend giving them a go, if he can't help then he will steer you in the right direction.

went in there today, top bloke, helped me with what I needed and had a bit of chat as well, it's so great to see someone around Woy Woy still running a shop like this, there few and far between these days and I definitely see myself dropping in again, no doubt A+++

The gentleman I spoke with was very obliging and sold me what I required.

When I scroll through the reviews of places like these and see typical comments such as, 'Well, he tried to sell me part X for Y money, when I can get the same part for Z money else where. Well, here's what I say, If you have the knowledge and time to identify the component you have, and research where you can find replacements, then going to places like these is not necessary for you, as you clearly have the competence to buy and install this stuff yourself. Places like Albatross Computers, are for the technically inclined, or people who are less knowledgeable with computers and other electronic devices. People go there for the personal experience, to have have someone do it all for them, and alleviate the stress of having to worry about things such as what a Hard Drive is? or how to upgrade RAM. And all these people complaining about how 'rude' and 'abusive' he is. I have two words for you, 'Grow Up!' People are people. We all have our own breaking points, and after doing computer repairs for a number of years, I know. People just expect things to be done instantly, like computer repair technicians are the one magic bullet that solves every IT related issue that they have. Well guess what, they aren't. Computers are complicated machines. They take time, patience and a lot of know how in order to operate on them. I have deep respect for IT technicians, they are the lifeline of the community during these troubling times, and without them, most of us would be confused on how to solve all our IT issues. To Pete, keep doin what ya do mate, you are the life line of the community, don't listen to all the haters , as 90% of the time they rely on people like you to keep them bantering online. Keep up the good work :)
