When my husband passed away suddenly aged just 50, i hadnt a clue what to do, and literally stumbled across Blessed by chance, so no appointment or initial contact. Carmel welcomed myself and a friend in to her office and immediately made us feel comfortable, and was wholly empathetic, kind, knowledgeable and caring. Carmel has been there every step of the way, on call if you need anything clarified, always going the extra mile. A somewhat belated but very sincere thanks to you, Joe, and all your staff at Blessed Funerals for the most wonderful care you provided to my friend, Ivan, and his beautiful departed wife, Lucy. I have learnt a great deal about the importance of community in recent weeks; amongst others, you jumped to the aid of Ivan in his darkest hours and helped him provide the most beautiful farewell to the love of his life. All deaths and funerals are tragic in their own way, and this one was especially sad for those who knew Lucy. You guys took all of that on board and did everything possible to make not only the day easy and seamless, but the lead up as well. The service was beautiful and respectful but more importantly, the sincerity and love you all showed to Lucy and Ivan was just heartwarming.
