Ordered RAM from their website for a server, said in stock deliver 1-2 days. I emailed on the third day when there was no update on the order, spoke with a Keith he advised sorry the item is on back order and wont arrive for another week and offered a refund since I had advised timing was critical (build for a client). I asked him if there was another kit he could recommend or if I could just get another kit that was shown on the website to be compatible. Keith offered me another kit, not shown on the compatibility list (which felt like an upsell). At this point I called and spoke to him directly, and advised I don't think this kit is compatible do you have a set of the other one I requested ? he said no so I said alright no worries just do the refund then... from here on in the next 24 hours is radio silence, I email him twice to confirm the refund is being done, but no reply this is strange as he had been very attentive on emails until now. I call the shop the next day twice to try and get a hold of Keith ( out for a coffee or not available) and get no call back from him, just reps who say they will get him to call me back. Later that evening I check my paypal on a whim and i see the refund has been done. A little customer service can go a long way - once a customer requests a refund it would be nice to send them confirmation ESP if the customer follows up, otherwise the whole process just feels dodgy (oh this guy isn't buying something, I don't have time for him ). As a client of RamCity for the last two years, I was very disappointed when I had an issue with a hard drive I purchased from them. I purchased the hard drive on the 18/10/19, I experienced problems with it and requested a replacement on 29/10/19. I was informed that they would email me with an update but to date I am yet to receive anything. I have needed to purchase another hard drive. Very poor service.
