We also took out a policy with Insure and Go. We made a booking in November 2019 and took out insurance at the same time only to be declined when we made a claim. We escalated the claim and did not hear from them so i have lodged a complaint with AFCA. Still no response from The insurer. Insure and Go; please contact me via email with your response

Do not deal with this company!nBooked international trip insurance in December 2019, well ahead of COVID travel advices, for a trip in September which was never taken and they refuse to refund my full premium. Despite me not taking the trip, they only provided a pro-rata 75% refund.

No reply received from emails at all, phoned office again today and told they have never received said emails to their complaints email address, given me another email address, very unprofessional service, after being assured by staff I was fully covered for pandemic, waste of money, do not recommend this travel insurance company at all.

This company is unethical, and sells product with no intention of settling legitimate claims. Our experience is summed up quoting from my note a request put forward in an email I just sent to their complaints dept.nnPlease put the following into print, on your letterhead, as it is an accurate representation of the position you have taken. “Here at Insure and Go, partner to Senior Card, we think that expecting two people in their 60’s, with pre-existing health conditions that they disclosed to us and paid additional premium for, to travel to Africa during a raging pandemic is completely reasonable in that it reduces our losses. Further, the fact that no flights are available to get there is not really an issue that we think should factor into the settlement of a cancellation claim under a policy that specifically covers cancellation owing to epidemics.”
