Officeworks Dubbo

I ordered a card reader (for SD and XD cards) online for click and collect. Luckily I checked my order before leaving the store when I went in to collect it as I had been given the wrong item. On investigation it turned out that the store didn't have what I ordered in stock, so instead of contacting me, a store member knowingly filled my order with a similar but different item (a card reader for only SD cards) when he couldn't locate the item. I know this is the case and that there wasn't a mix up as the employee said he had been searching all morning for the card reader and couldn't find it. Instead of telling me this, my order was instead ticked as complete for pick up. At NO point was I asked or informed of the change - I'm assuming they hoped I wouldn't notice. My order was actually an entirely different thing and the other product did not have the card reader (XD) that I required. I am extremely angry that I was lied to and tricked instead of contacted, and that my time was wasted. I would give this experience a 0 score if I could.

A nice place full of craft and stationery. It would be most kids dreams to own thing from here & they have reasonably low prices
