I have been coming to Icon hair and beauty since I moved to Canberra. I am the kind of person who will happily travel 30 minutes to get my hair done by someone and that someone is the lovely Alex!nShe does it all! Great with cut and colour, extremely friendly and gives great advice on how to properly maintain your hair. She is someone who truly prides herself on her work and enjoys what she does.nI am going to miss coming here when I leave.

First appointment today and what a fantastic result. Alex is wonderful. Took the time to discuss my lifestyle and my normal hair routine. Extremely knowledgeable. The best colour (full foils) I have had and a beautiful low maintenance cut. She will now be my go to hairdresser. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Being the husband of a hairdresser, I am a bit fussy how my hair is done, but as I just moved here - I need my haircut right.nI choose this salon over the reviews I read and am pleased I did so.nI was greeted very nicely on arrival. The salon is a very nice fit-out, not crowed, not noisy but clean and bright.nA quality service for a mens haircut, including washing my hair, clippers, cut and thinning out of the hair was just what I wanted. Alex was what I call a highly professional hairdresser, one that respects her trade and skills.nHer customer service was of the highest standard and a great representation of that what a great hairdresser is.

Great experience! I was in Queanbeyan for a few days visiting family and desperately needed a haircut and stumbled upon Alex at Icon. She was amazing! She took time to discuss my lifestyle, how I liked my hair to sit, whether I like layers or a blunt cut and was really precise about the length she cut off. Fantastic blow dry and reasonably priced too! I'll definitely go again next time I'm in the area.

I would recommend anyone nervously seeking a new hairdresser to try Alex at Icon. You will not be disappointed. Alex is very conscientious and really cares about making sure that you are happy with the result. She is a great cutter, which is not easy to find. I always walk out feeling happy with the result. Sometimes I am not certain in which direction to go to have a change. At those times I can confidently leave it to Alex. Also, she is a pleasure to deal with. What more can you ask for?
