A great spot to stop if driving through the area. Great views from all sides. Great place to whale watch. After rain, an interesting place to bring the kids as you can see the difference in water between the ocean and emptying river. A nice place to have a picnic on the nearby grassy slope.

Easy to access. Beautiful shaded area as well as a lovely boardwalk around the base of the headland
