Hopeless. Mint Property is a waste of time, avoid renting through them! I dealt with illegal inspections, rude emails and my bond refund was held up unreasonably for months. Myrna Warren could do with reading the Residential Tenancies Act as she appears at little rusty on some of the details.

We have been renting with Mint Property for the past 3 years. During this time, we have been blessed with the most amazing, not to mention professional, efficient, kind and caring property manager, Myrna Warren. Myrna has been always been a pleasure to deal with, whether it be for an inspection or some small issue to be fixed. Unfortunately we are about to move out of our property due to work commitments and the saddest thing will be not having Myrna as my property manager in the future. I highly recommend Mint Property and Myrna Warren if you are in need of a rental property and the best property manager on the Gold Coast.nKind RegardsnMaria

Myrna was the estate agent and she was horrible. In the beginning I thought she was nice until we were to vacate the premesis. The house she was renting us that bad bad sewage leaks which she done nothing about despite the numerous complaints she blamed the neibourhood plumbing “. When I fell pregnant and asked to break lease due to the conditions not being liveable with 2 weeks notice she charged me 500 to re advertise the house found some one to move in the day I move out and still charged me the break lease fees on top. She took my spare keys to the house and tried to charge me 500 to replace them. She tried to leave me after that a horrible rental review on the system / black list. Which I’ve successfully rented other homes after at the price of $750 and $680 proving I actually am a fantastic Tennant with great reviews post my experience with her. She was horrible about my bond cleaner who done a wonderful job and come back to rectify anything wrong - which was only to hose the porch !. She made me pay to clean the bin that was dirty when we moved in. I cannot believe how she left me a bad review considering there was no compassion I was pregnant and living in horrible poo smell and me and my kids were always feeling sick. I left the home and left her to take my bond due to her pathetic word against mine about her “ not taking the keys” when I know she did as I seen her grab the bag from the top cubbord containing the window keys and spare garage. She said “ I don’t have a spare at the office but I’m supposed to keep one for inspections etc “ so I’ll take theses ones back now” and then she left with them all. And at the end of the tenancy agreement tried to say she didn’t have them. How disgusting. I’m very glad my new agents diddnt listen to her review online. I thought I would write my experience with her too as she did me. She was a sneaky bitter agent . So proceed with them with caution.

Please save yourself from the hell I was expected to live in. Signed a lease without viewing a property, which is illegal for them to do (I was nieve and young, never again.) When we moved in there was urine stains up the wall, junk all through the house, even tree roots growing through the tiles in the shower. Absolute squallor conditions. Agents were impossible to deal with and landlord would trespass on property and try to make him way into the house.
