Booked a Discover Queensland special which fell through because of the coronavirus pandemic. I was contacted by the Leisure Group office with options which I fully planned to take. No date was given for me to respond by until it was apparently the date that a decision had to be confirmed; on which date my phone was rung all morning as I worked, but no one managed to answer my return calls or emails with hours left in the business day. This office lost me several hundreds of dollars.

Unfortunately I had to negotiate for over a week on the phone & multiple emails with Leisure Group (Gold Coast) for my Refund for my accommodation booked (Discover QLD Holidays) due to cancellation for Covid 19. Leisure Group had the audacity to try charging me $150 cancellation fee initially & tried to blame this fee on the apartment we booked, which I later discovered had nothing to do with them! I would have thought in the travel industry at present that Leisure Group would have been more understanding, more efficient & prompt with refunds in these uncertain times of such a pandemic. No surprise that I won’t be using their services in the future.

Have seen some negative reviews on this business but I have just got off the phone from an enquiry, per Logan, and he was very helpful and quickly resolved my issues. I was pleasantly impressed - thank you!

Don't buy a gift card herennI purchased a gift card on-line and was waiting to receive the email confirmation voucher so that I could give it as a gift. The email confirmation never arrived. I started an online chat as this was offered on this website. I sent numerous messages to my online chat person, who never responded.nSo I resorted to phoning on the 1800 number listed. My purchase was confirmed but I was advised that Discover Queensland are unable to send emails to anyone with a bigpond email address due to a problem with their system. So I reluctantly gave a friend's Hotmail email address as they advised that this was the only way I could get my paid for gift card/voucher. My friend also did not receive the email as their system could not email to a Hotmail address either.nThis was extraordinarily poor customer service, they could take my money but could not send me confirmation of my purchase due to a problem with their system. When I stated that I wanted a refund they advised me that their terms and conditions that I had agreed to were for no refunds or exchanges.nI would never recommend this website to anyone and I would recommend using a more reliable website like wotif.nnReagan that spoke with me simply just didn't care
