Today I walked into the medibank office. The older lady was to busy telling me about my account giving me different reasons!!! When I asked her if she was listening to me instead of answeringna simple question!! She said she will be calling security the one star reviews tell it all

In April 2020 I had to claim a procedure to the emergency department at the public hospital. After paying the quote to them, I went to the Medibank branch at Australia Fair in Southport asking for a reimbursement; I told I had already paid the hospital so I needed a refund on my bank account. However, Medibank refunded the hospital, instead of me.nWhen I came back to the branch asking for an explanation, the young lady who did the procedure (an Asian woman) told me I didn’t tell her I had already paid the hospital and to do so the next time. [I had to wait 2 more weeks to have my money back]nnIn November 2020 I had a surgery in another hospital and I went to Medibank again to receive the refund. This time, I clearly told TWICE to the same Asian lady I had already paid the hospital so I needed a refund on my bank account. Guess what? Money was sent to the hospital again and not to me. [I am still waiting for my refund]nI’ll never go to that branch again, I am extremely disappointed.

I called Medibank about a claim expressing in detail what information I had and that I cannot claim on the app. I was told that with blood tests they only do claims in store and the nearest in store is about 22 minutes from home. I take off work and go to the Medibank store only to be told to turn around they can’t help me because I don’t have an item number. I shared with her that I was told to come in for that reason. I was misinformed by Medibank and because of that out of 2 hours of work and 44 minutes drive time. I called Medibank back to report on this mishap and was told they can’t do anything about it. Who is going to compensate me for my time? Poor quality! Misinformation and lack of empathy to losing time of work. 0 stars for me.

I went there looking for help to do the claim because I won't able to do through the app and the asia woman who talked with wouldn't be able to listen my question...just talk talk and talk and didn't help me at all!!!

Michelle is excellent. A very caring, genuine and helpful lady. Always polite and her product knowledge is thorough. Kirby is very good too. I always get what I want sorted when I visit this branch.
