Went on the Quick Cat II for thenKing tide foreshore cruise. Lovely, friendly, informative staff. Great morning out on the waters of Hervey Bay

This is the boat you want to consider going on. Yes, the staff are polite, friendly and know their stuff. But, the boat is ideal. It’s size is large enough to cut through choppy waves if it’s a bit blowy. But, more importantly, it has walking access all around the perimeter of the boat. It has a high deck viewing area for those who want the view, and then has the lower deck for an opportunity for a close up encounter. Not once, did I feel swarmed by other patrons. Everybody had a perfect view no matter where they were positioned. They knew where the whales were from the impressive communication with the other boats. Great community spirit at its best. So there was no aimless wondering around. I will be joining this crew again on my next trip.

Sam, Josh and Kate go above and beyond to search out the whales while in Platypus Bay to get passengers a really great experience. We were also probably the first to see the the first calf and Mum together, when she gently nudged her new born over to the boat to show it off to us, it was so very special. Thanks Team.

The original and best family run whale watching on the Quick Cat 2. A very knowledgeable and experienced crew who will make your trip an adventure to remember.

I spoke to a guy called Josh at the marina at the boat, he told me he was an owner of Quick cat II. He was rude and abrupt and was more concerned about his ego than discussing a tour for 6 people. I then booked with one of their competitors (lovely people) and was very happy.
