A lovely spot to go if you want to explore some interesting facts about whales and the model of the Urangan Pier was fascinating. It used to have a train running out to the end of the Pier and it used to be much longer than it is today. The fact that it is 117 years old shows how good the workmanship was back in the old days. Good place to learn a bit about Hervey Bay and the whales a gold coin donation to go in. They have a interactive board that shows whales swimming and their song. There is a theatre room with a documentary normally playing and some activities for the kids worth a visit.

I think this might be the best thing in Hervey bay. It's super interesting tells you loads about the wildlife and the history of the area. definitely worth popping in if you're in the area

Fantastic centre. Very educational. Our kids spent a good couple of hours here soaking up loads of new information, and playing with the loads of toys and games. Best of all it was completely free!
