This was a good tour. You could go and visit the places yourself, however, it is good to have someone else do the driving over that distance. Lisa was a wealth of knowledge. I think that was the stand out of the trip, having a guide that has lived in the area for 20+ years, who could provide some context to the environmental, social and political history of the area. This was also the case on the crocodile tour, the guide was able to explain how the environment had changed over his time on the river.nnThe only point that I didn't really appreciate and this is only due to personal taste, was the wildlife park that we visited. I'm really not into captive animals, so to see a lonely looking tree kangaroo and a cassowary pacing back and forth was a bit troubling. If you have children and are keen on a zoo like experience, this would be great fun.

We took the full day scenic coast drive north from Cairns, incl Wildlife Habitat, Daintree forest boardwalk and river cruise, Cape Tribulation beach. Lisa was our guide. Wonderfully knowledgeable about this region as only a locally raised person could be, also very well studied in botany. Very safe and attentive driving.

What an amazing day! Our tour guide Lisa was fun, passionate and had a world of knowledge. Great lunch, beautiful beaches and the rainforest walk was memorable.

Amazing tour of Kuranda!!!! Lots of things to see and do with a balance of free time and exploration. A definitely must see
