My sister has Down syndrome and autism, but has been riding horses with special disability riding services for most of her life. She tried out Royals and they have been amazing with her: patient, kind, accommodating. They're just as great as the disability riding centre! My sister absolutely loves it, and my parents are completely thrilled. As a family, we cannot recommend them enough. Beautiful horses, beautiful place - thank you Josh and Damian, for providing such an amazing service!!
My daughter went to the half day program last school holiday with a friend. She was kicked by the horse on the thigh while brushing it following the instructor's instruction. It is not acceptable to contact the parents 1.5 hours after the incident. On the phone they said my daughter was annoyed because everyone started riding their horses. When I got there in 10 mins my daughter was crying not because she was annoyed but she was in so much pain! They did give her ice pack and first aid physio advice but if I have known a bit earlier I would have given her pain killers! Later when I went back to pick her friend up I saw another little kid brushing that horse. According to her friend they let others ride on it and it was not very well behaved for the rest of the lesson. I rather drive a bit further next time to ensure there are enough suitable horses!
On my first lesson I had such a incredible experience! Josh is kind and i definetly recomend for begginer riders!
