After attending my mothers funeral yesterday, I feel empty inside...a funeral is a time for family to say their goodbyes to their loved one. My mother passed away at 66yo from matastisised brain cancer...she was diagnosed in March and spent the last weeks of her life meticulously planning her funeral with George Hartnett metropolitan funerals. My mother did this to lessen the grief of her children, however yesterday at my mothers funeral, people were signing clip boards of plain paper...which had to them be addressed with the staff as my mother had picked a black leather bound funeral book. 2 of the songs my mother picked for her funeral were not played...the inferior equipment made it impossible to play our photo memorial and the facility itself is no more that a shed with pews...I am both devastated and my grieving process severely hindered because of that, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, find a better place to farewell your loved one!!! If I could give a zero rating I would!!

We used this companu to farwell my father in law. Therese at Metropolian helped us out so much. The funeral was planned perfectly and went off with out a problem. I wouldn't hesitate in using this company again. Thank you so much for your help

ud83dudc94 My heart is just broken ud83dudc94nnOn Wednesday 27/06/2018 My family attended my dear Aunty Charmaine Joy Phillips funeral at your Wynnum Chapel if you can call it that. OMG what a joke my heart is just broken for my cousions Josh Kinley & family Tanya Wiseman & family and Robert Phillips.nThis service was suspose to be a' A Celebration of the life of my dearest Aunty who was more of a mother to me since my mother passed in 2004 and our family has always used your company for funerals. We all feel so so let down by your business we feel we never got to say goodbye to our Aunty the service showed no respect for the deceased she was not just another person your company did the funeral service for Aunty Charmaine was loved and I'm so glad she did not see how your staff undertake someone's loved on their final journey. First there was no book to sign as people arrived so there was a mad rush to find one omg what do these funeral director's think do they check everything I don't think so. Next as we are all seated my dear Aunts daughter reads the Eulogy for her mum.Things are going ok then the whole service goes to ????.nThey try and play the photo memorial and all we get is a couple of photo's then blue screen and no music.what the ???? Your wynnum tin shead doesn't have the updated equipment to play the usb and the cd the famiy had she said we don't need that. My Aunt did not deserve this to happen to her. We don't even feel we were at a funeral two of her songs were not played and I feel the family were treated like things happen no they should not. My Aunty was given about 3 months to life and she tried so hard to have her service done so her dear family did not suffer any more. I can tell you this we are all suffering we did not have a service for her it was a joke my family is so upset about the events that unfolded this week we all just feel sick how can you get over what they has done or should I say didn't do.nNothing can give us back her service your business needs to take a hard look at your funeral director's and can they attend a service without upsetting everyone there to say their last goodbye's to friend or family. I'm so so sorry Aunty this happened I just feel sick to my stomach how your family was treated this week. If I could give a zero I would never use this business again nothing will ever make up for the trama we are all going through after this service.
