We booked a rental vehicle during a time of doubt of travel. At the time of booking It was not made clear that I had to opt for a extra cost to be eligible to receive a refund if a government imposed lock down occurred. To be fair I would have assumed that giving 11 days notice of the fact I had no physical ability to make it to the booking would have been enough, but Lucy told me No and that I have lost the deposit.nI’m not saying they are wrong for keeping my money I’m just saying it’s pretty poor form. Double check your booking details.
