Iconic story bridge situated in the fortitude valley. Great view looking over both sides of Brisbane. And at night, it lights up with different colour. Could be nice to walk along the river for the view.nThere are also some bars restaurants below the bridge on the fortitude valley side. Worth a visit.
Catch free ferry (City Hoper) from south bank terminal 3 and get down at Riverside ferry terminal. Walk towards the Betty's Burgers & Concrete Co. There is a glass elevator near to the shop. You can access the elevator and reach top of the Story Bridge. Nice view from there. Kids will really enjoy the elevator ride. You can cross the river through Story bridge and access the ferry from Holman street terminal :).
Under the story bridge has a great small open area with sands where we can walk our dogs and let them run wild. My dogs love it here because its the nearest beach place in the city. There would be some other dogs coming here sometimes so they can play together. Such a great place for photo shoots ud83eudd70
Well I've only been to Brisbane twice and this been the 2nd time. But each time I've here I'm drawn back to the Story Bridge. Last year I did an evening climb, and the views from the top as the city went from day to night, were spectacular. Even more so as she lights like a Christmas tree, as it gets dark. The walk across or under her by boat is both enjoyable and a sight to behold. It's a must see attraction for all locals and visitors alike. The Story Bridge is the heart of Brisbane city, with a wonderful history that is as colourful as she is at night. A must see.
I don’t know what is it about the Story Bridge in Brisbane, whenever, I visit Brisbane I’m drawn towards the bridge and walk over and take tons of pictures. The views from the bridge are amazing seeing the skyline of Brisbane. Beautiful.
