Their A frame caught my attention and I was curious, so headed downstairs to a huge beautiful space, filled with stunning artwork and a different menu, inspired by native ingredients.nnI spoke to Chanaya, the waitress who explained they were in the process of changing supplies and menu, so some of the items were not available but there was 4 specials. The chef Dhillip joined our discussion and he suggested he could add some kangaroo to the spinach and mushroom risotto, I was sold for a bargain price of $12.nnI walked round the gallery until my food was ready. It was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. There was lemon myrtle gently combined with the other flavours and the tender kangaroo perfectly complimented the risotto.nnI will be back, to enjoy the food, art work and friendly service.

We held a lunch event here recently, the staff were extremely helpful in the leadup to the event. On the day they were super attentive and made sure our group were well looked after on the day. The food was also great quality and rate the Native Option.nnLooking forward to coming to the space again.

Great experience every time I go! Unique native Australian menu, lovely service and surrounded by phenomenal art. Love the functions they host too, selflessly showcasing and supporting local talent and small businesses (exhibitions, artisan markets). The owners Birrunga and Susie always say a warm hello. Hidden underground, it’s one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets!
