Iwan Bookshop

I have been in Iwan with my family a couple of times and I enjoyed spending time there. Iwan brings Iranian handcrafts which are beautiful and special, and English and Iranian books as well which are selective and exceptional.nAlso, painting and Iranian calligraphy are extraordinary there.nMost importantly, a couple who run Iwan are a nice family and their hospitality is amazing.nThey have made a happy and good vibes there.nSo, I would highly recommend Iwan especially for Iranian families who try to keep our language and culture in our community here.

We’ve just stumbled across this wonderful place. You could stay there literally for hours and enjoy looking at everything in this perfectly decorated and maintained cafe. Had a great convo with its knowledgeable owner and bought some amazing books and handicrafts. I would recommend it to almost everyone.

Very calm and joyful atmosphere cafe/bookstore with extremely welcoming and friendly service. Iwan has a range of delicious drinks and snacks on offer, including beautiful rose and saffron tea (my favourite). There are beautiful books and other cute items as well as play room for little ones. I travel to new farm just to come here. I couldn't recommend it more!

Iwan is a must-go place in Brisbane. It’s amazing to visit this place, read books, have a coffee and above all have a chat with Taraneh and Iman who I can speak to for hours about any topics.nRarely can such cafe/bookshop be found in Australia.nIt has a collection of the best books in Persian, English and even French with many activities for yourselves and kids.nYou can also find the finest handcraft from Persia.nIwan is a treasure which should be preserved with our support.

The atmosphere is incredible, you could stay for hours just looking at everything. The books and board games there are absolutely stunning and so unique. I'm so glad I stumbled across this little gem.
