Whitsunday Saturday Markets

I got there late, people were packing up. But I needed a hat. The first stall I came across had exactly the right cowboy style straw hat with a hatband of beads and leather.nIt was the best fitting hat I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was perfect for the wild Red Cat Adventures I did the next day.nAnd then I lost it.nI’ll be trying to contact that stall holder. I’ll buy another hat and pay postage. Fingers crossed.nMeanwhile Airlie Beach, it’s Saturday Markets and adventure cruises and restaurants etc are all fabulous.

Amazing markets, probably the best I’ve been to in a long time! All the stalls have different things and it’s all very high quality for a reasonable price. Really enjoyed the live music they has playing on the stage and all the food stalls were delicious! Definitely a must try is the mango sorbet and some home made dumplings. I bought a couple sarongs and bracelets for family members and I’m super happy with everything I got! The only down side is it can we very hot and all the shady spots fill up quickly so get down their early!

A great 30min market with stalls of clothes, food, craft, wood work, dog treats and kids toys. Massive playground next door for the kids.

Superb Markets! Have an amazing array of items. Friendly people everywhere.

Dumplings are really delicious. Great local products. Friendly and great live music. Markets overlooking the beach. Very beautiful and relaxing
