Can't say enough good things about coming here. We broke a rudder coming north, close to Bowen. 40Kn winds. 3m swell. Picked up the phone and rang to see if they had a place to do repairs. Not a problem. Hunkered down in the harbor for a week to get out of the weather. Perfect service. Amenities were basic but clean. Harbor Master Terry was a legend. Very helpful and forthcoming with local knowledge. Will come back.

STAY AWAY, it will be cheaper to travel to Mackay or Townsville to have work done. Was quoted $4100 for anti foul and Prop Speed on 38ft mono cruiser. Charged $5400 ABSOLUTE EXTORTION!!! Could have had the same job done at home marina for $2800. Be Warned
