Bowen Summergarden Cinemas

I enjoyed it, with some caveats. Seating was good, movie experience was good as usual. However my friends and I got a lemonade and we noticed there wasn't any ice and the drink itself was about 75% syrup with very little carbonation. I begrudgingly drank mine while my friend only had half of his.nnWhat I expected was the lemonade I go to the Bowen cinemas for, the nectar of the gods, the liquid of the kings. And what I got? I got pure, unadulterated rage in a cup. Rage that bestowed itself upon me. This is appalling and I expect it to be rectified upon my next visit.nnAlso these strange small children were at the door asking me how the movie was. Some people may not enjoy that sort of thing, especially during a pandemic.nThank you for reading.

I love this place. It's old stuff and awesome.. it's worth the 45 minute trip each way

Love going to the Bowen Cinemas, so much cinema history there.nI do suggest getting there about half hour before your movie to purchase your tickets and snacks, cash only, ATM is available inside the venue though.nSo glad to see you are back up and running after COVID..

It is great to be met at the door by the owner, who was very informative about all the old projectors and movie posters.nLove going there as you don't come out into the mad bustle of big City life.

Always pleasant, quaint place to visit! Family run with friendly staff
