While in Townsville two places you must go To is a walk on Strand park and a walk up Castle Hill

Very clean. Such a nice tropical place. The breeze is beautiful. It has a water park for the kids and a rock pool for young and old. Plenty of playground spread out. The paths are great for bikes, scooters, rollerblading, walking and running. Can get quite busy though because it's so popular!nAnd they have the electric scooters you can hire too which are great fun!!

We love The Strand park. Going for walks at the start and finish of each day.Beautifully kept area. Well kept footpaths. Places to sit and rest. Vibrant space. Love this area

Great view of the ocean and Magnetic Island. Plenty of parks with play equipment to take the children to. The strand water park is excellent on a hot summers day. There is also plenty of choices of places to eat and bars to have a beer along the strand.
