Really friendly staff with a fantastic layout. The pool is really well set up and you could spend a day just at the hotel itself. Great value for money. Very clean room as well

Definitely one for the kayaker or adventurous type. Cockle Bay is home to a beautiful shipwreck which is work going out to see.nnMake sure you check low tide times and arrive just before low tide starts. If walking i recommend have reef shoes and clothes you can get muddy and being aware of your time. Also helps to carry water in the boot and towels to clean up after and a plastic bag for muddied shoes. It took us about 2 hours round-trip (this included time to walk around and take photos).nnIf you are not confident possibly the better and safest option is to kayak out and around.nnWalking out was quite an experience for me as I had never done something like this before. I only attempted this because I had trust in a friend that was experienced.nnSafe to say, I do not have any photos as I kept my phone safe in the car and was more concerned about supervising my 10yo son who was the photographer along with our friend who was leading the way.nnPlease take waterbottles for hydration and keep snacks in the car.nnI guarantee it is an experience you will never forget.

Great hidden spot, excellent for she'll hinting, getting muddy in the mangroves and playing with hermit crabs

Although there's many mangroves (which means a lot of bitey insects), there's a beautiful view, especially if you have a drone. Boating and kayaking is good. There's a nice reef and a shipwreck.
