Very quick, hassle-free service. Casual yet polite attitude of staff helps save time and just get on with the fun. Hired a half cabin boat for $60. The longer you hire the cheaper it is obviously. An hour was long enough for us to go around a loop and come back.

Pelican Boat Hire right on the river opposite the shopping strip was a fabulous place to drop into for a coffee or to hire any sort of marine gear. We wandered over to inquire about the ferry that goes to Noosa Hastings Street and were lucky to be approached by Louise. She was fabulous she told us about all our options, prices and even suggested an afternoon ferry trip that we could go on with a wine and nibbles cruising up and down the river for a couple of hours for less that $20 each (seniors prices. ) She was very enthusiastic about Noosaville and what it had to offer letting us know about free live music on the river and venues nearby. Thanks to Louise We are going on our ferry trip on the weekend an yesterday we went to the Thursday morning concert on the river and enjoyed another great Cuppa and the band of locals who did a wonderful job entertaining us for a few hours.

Hired a boat for 2 hours with 4 of us on board. Completely unfamiliar with the area, but both members of staff at the desk made it simple for us to have a great day out. Definitely recommend.

We booked the luxury bbq pontoon (which came with basic fishing gear as an added bonus) for a 2-hour trip, we ended up extending for another hour whilst out on the river. The staff were super helpful and very accommodating. Would highly recommend Pelican Boat Hire and will use them again next time we're up in Noosa
