Was on our bucket list to do on our Honeymoon. Pilots great. Made u feel at ease very comfortable. Such an incredible experience to glide slowly through the sky. Brilliant landing. Glass of champagne, or juice or water when landing. Great way to finish off with photos of pilots to finish. Highly recommend this company. ❤ufe0f

Overall my family had a great time during our Hot Air Balloon ride in Port Douglas in May 2014. The views from the balloon were fantastic and it was amazing to see the sunrise. The crew was very professional and accommodating. Not having ever previously gone ballooning we didn't know what to expect, so were surprised by how large the balloons were. We were told each of the 4 sections of the basket could hold up to 6 people. During our ride there were 5 people in each section of the basket. I felt like the experience would have been 5 star if we had a bit more space (we were traveling as a family of 4 adults and a single adult rider was in our basket with us as well) to give us a bit more space to feel relaxed and more comfortable.

Picked up early in the morning 4:20am from the hotel in Port Douglas.nnAlong the way in the bus we were told little bits of information until our arrival at the balloons. I should point out it had been raining in Port Douglas, but up on the tableland the weather was perfect.nnThere were 2 30 minute flights. I was on the second, so we started with watching the balloon go up and we continued with chasing it.nnOnce on board, the flight was smooth and lower off the ground than I expected. Best of both worlds. High enough to see a long way to the horizon, low enough to see wildlife and other details on the ground.nnThe staff were friendly and informative and showed they liked what they're doing.nnGreat morning, all pluses and I can overlook the early morning as it was worth it.

Being not very fond of heights, but doing the touristy thing in North Queensland, I took the plunge and booked a HotAir Balloon ride for me and my wife. Once the balloon lifted off the ground, the smooth assent into the crisp morning air, made my fears disappear. The gentle movement of the balloon in the air currents gave us plenty of time to see the sunrise over the distant mountains and take in the morning views of Mareeba and district, without any sudden movements to reignite my fears. The pilot was very professional and support team great. Even a slightly rough landing with the basket stopping on its side, was pre-warned and well controlled, so as to feel as though it was meant to be part of the experience. Great experience team!

What a morning, really goodnVery capable team and pilot bob answered everyone's questions with great humor. Seeing the 7 balloons taking off was really good, far bigger than we expected, so smooth.
