Jack's Satay Bar

Amazing food!!!!! very freindly staff and amazing wine. never have I had a bad dish here, wish I lived closer to the area so I could go more often.

Curry Puffs - It had egg in them too, and it was crispy. The stuffing was good.nJack Yum Soup - Do not confuse it with Tom Yum, it doesn't taste quite the same and it's sufficient for one person. The prawns were fresh and juicy.nRice - The Best, one of chef's speciality with duck. We had it without any curry, and we really enjoyed it. Loved the flavour of the rice and the texture of the duck - cooked to perfection.nHoikkein Noodles - Not our favourite, it was very bland. It had two types of noodles. We took it home and re-made it with our own spices ud83dude01nOverall, we loved the rice and would definitely go back for it!

We had our birthday party here last Sunday. The staffs were so accommodating and we had a lot of fun. Great food, will definitely come back again.

Really average food.. ordered satay because I would think that is their specialty. Was probably the worst satay I've had. Coconut rice just tasted like normal rice.

I had high expectations, and during lockdown thought it was a good chance to give it a go and support local business.. but...nThe food was fairly pricy for the serving size, and second to that, extremely sub-par to pretty much anything I've had, e.g. comparing a $10 satay elsewhere to their $25.80 Satay (Which is in the name), the price vs quality left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth, if any taste at all.nnLittle to no flavor in the Satay main, average vegetables, very watery. Coconut rice was definitely regular rice, or just extremely minimal coconut use, bland.nnMee goreng was alright, again minimal flavor, no salt or flavor in most of it, bland egg. Serving size reasonable at least.nnGlad I gave it a go, but wouldn't go back, probably ever sadly. Was really excited for a good satay, but fell far from the mark. The high star on Google really threw me, as it's usually fairly accurate.
