Excellent dermatologist with a great bedside manner.nnI went to see Dr Mei Tam for a skin condition that was misdiagnosed by my GP as being eczema but turned out to be psoriasis. Dr Mei Tam prescribed a course of treatment that totally cleared up my symptoms within a few months. She takes the time to fully describe the issues that you are going through and explains the side effects of any medication that she prescribes. Even though she may have a packed waiting room, when you do see her, she never rushes you through your appointment with her.nnSometimes the waiting list is long, but it is well worth it if you want the right treatment with compassionate care. I'd recommend her to anyone seeking assistance with any skins condition.nnNote that you will need a referral from your GP first.

Dr Tam is a wonderful specialist who is an expert at swiftly identifying my skin conditions. She is very personable, and patiently and clearly answers any questions I may have. That's why I have been seeing her for about ten years, and will continue to do so. Excellent specialist.

I saw a skin specialist at this business a year ago and subsequently had a BCC removed by a surgeon. When I cam back for my yearly check up the Dr I saw had retired and now they want me to go back to square one and get another referral and pay another initial consultation fee. $220 for 15 minutes is outrageious! I am going to the public system. I know the Dr probably went to school for a long time but $880 per hour is criminal.
