I have been going to Melb Uni Audiology for my hearing aids for 10 years. I am on my second set of devices and can't recommend them highly enough. I had consults at a few 'shopfront' clinics before Melb Uni were recommended to me by a friend and the difference is remarkable. At the shop front clinics I felt that the main motivator was profit, but at Melb Uni I feel much more comfortable with the service and advice I receive. And being a teaching unit, the level of capability and facilities are at a high standard.nnMost importantly, the follow up service is excellent and again, I never have to worry about profit motivation - even if the entity called Academic Hearing Aids is supposed to be a profitable extension of the School of Audiology (which I don't know).

University of Melbourne Audiology has been the most professional, supportive and life changing organization I have ever come across and been a part of. Unfortunately my hearing had seriously declined due to previous cancer treatment and was left devastated not knowing where to turn. I was referred to University of Melbourne Audiology Department by a specialist which I am am greatly thankful for. From reception to the specialists I had encountered I could have not been more supported, guided and looked after. Dominic Power & Siobhan Mcginnity have been instrumental with my process and have helped me to try and live life as normal as possible. Dominic is still part of my care today and I know that without him my quality of life would not be the same. He is an absolute genuine asset to Melbourne University Audiology and thank him greatly for all his support and hard work. Thank you to everyone.
