Young Andrew the Optometrist was conscientious, knowledgeable and a clear communicator and explained the results of the eye tests in detail. Very professional and confidence building. I have been going there for many years so its good to know the experience remains excellent.

Less than thrilled when I got new glasses that weren’t quite as good as my previous ones which were over 7 years old. When I asked them to check I was told that one lens in the new pair was stronger than the old pair, but the other lens was weaker. When I challenged this as not being right, as my eyes had gotten worse over time, not better, I was fobbed off and told to bring them back if I had problems with them. Hadn’t I just done that??? I’m now wearing the old ones instead of the new ones. Waste of time and money.

Made an appointment over the phone. Drove an hour in just for that appointment only to find that the computer online system booked over my appointment and gave it to someone else. I had one chance to get this sorted. Now I have to wait til I can organise to get back here. So I'll be waiting a MONTH before I can even look at some glasses as mine were broken. A MONTH without being able to see or drive. Thanks alot.

My partner and l sat at the desk with the young lady assistant, my partner was purchasing 2pairs of prescription glasses, l was purchasing 2 pairs of sunglasses, we were all wearing our masks ,and sat behind a perspect screen.The young lady was speaking fast and sounded muffled of which l said please could you speak slower, l also didn't understand what she was saying in regards to my sunglasses, and before l knew it she had put the sale through without prescription lenses, to which my partner pointed out, and asked if we could have one pair with the prescription as we had Bupa, and one without., and again suggested she spoke slower and pointed out because of the mask and speed she was talking was making it difficult to understand her,.In an aggressive manner she muttered something and cancelled the sale put the next sale through with both pairs prescriptionn, to which l reminded her l only want 1pair with prescription to which she snapped l Have Told You 3 TImes You Can't Have 1 Pair With Prescription We asked her to show some respect and that it would help if she spoke a little more slowly and take time to explain to which she said we were the ones that should show respect , l was very upset at this and cancelled the sale and asked to see the manager to which in a loud clever voice she said I AM THE MANAGER . After speaking to another gentleman who she said( was her boss), about her attitude towards us, and as no apology or a way of resolving the problem we asked for our prescriptions and left the store . I would like to point out that the other staff we had contact with on that day were very courteous and helpful and have been going to this store for several years.
