The Music Centre Berwick

My son started lessons there when he was 12. He is now 18 and tours in his own band interstate. His teacher inspired him to do what he does today. The staff including the manager of this business are nothing but courteous and professional. They are there to provide a service for those willing to purchase with commitment and with respect and they do this 100%. No regrets and highly recommended.

My kids were attending this music school for a year. My 10 year old was whacked on his hand for not playing the piano properly. He was so upset that he wanted to report Child Abuse. But I chose not to. I called the centre to inform that he will not attend classes any more because of the incident. The proprietor asked me to withdraw my daughter from the classes too. And the excuse was that she is not practicing enough. A point which was never brought up the one year I paid for individual lessons. Very disappointed. Only recommended for parents who are strict and physically abuse their children to perform.

My two children are doing lessons at this centre, one doing piano the other guitar. Very kind and patient teachers. I'm very happy.

This place is more a music school rather than a music shop. They do have a small shop and sell the essentials but it's more about the lessons. I did lessons there for s few years and I still drop in every now and then for strings and stuff. It's a cool place.

Excellent facility and great teachers. My family has been going to The Music Centre for lessons for over ten years. Highly recommended.
