Lightning Swamp Bushland

Beautiful bushland walking and hiking.nGreat place for a picnic.

Lovely bushland, interesting walk.

I love this bushland reserve.nWent walking there today with my dog.nShe didn’t want to leave!nIt was windy & very wet there todaynand I had thoughts of leaving but my dog urged me to keep walking!!nShortly afterwards we spotted a fox.nI took a pic of it (from a distance) before it quickly darted away once it was aware of our presence.nOn another occasion I came across a very large kangaroo (in a clearing)nright near the boardwalk that runs parallel to the swamp.nI wondered if it was injured as normally kangaroos quickly dart away.nThis one didn’t though I made sure I kept a safe distance from it.nEventually it just slowly moved away.nThis a great place to appreciate and enjoy our wonderful bushland reserve’s.nAll in all it’s one of our favourite places to go for a walk.

Pristine piece of remnant bush with a wide varity of landscapes. Has a small population of roos living within the bush. Plenty of nice walk trails and full of life and diversity which is on display during spring
