I have used Devon Conveyancing a few times over the years and they have always been professional and transparent. I would highly recommend Devon to anyone who is looking for a good Settlement Agent.

Devons negligence in forwarding paperwork when requested by the bank contributed towards an almost 2 week delay in settlement of property. When I rang to speak with the staff member responsible, they would not take my call, or made an effort to call me back. This non-responsiveness added stress and further upset to the delay. I also gave details to another staff member to pass onto the principle of the business - there was no response from her either. Nor was there a reply when I emailed the principle to try and discuss the matter.nI was charged full price - for a very average service, that lacked professionalism and communication.nDue to my nerve-racking and frustrating experience, in my opinion, I would not recommend this company to look after your property needs. Especially as it naturally can be an emotional ordeal to being with.

This is my 3rd time dealing with Devon. But this time it was a completely different experience (bad way). This time around, I was a seller and here was a confusion around the outstanding bills, money witheld for the outstanding water bill and rates. Everything was fine going through the settlement (apart from from a few hiccups for the defects found by the buyer. I dealt with the lady called Angela. I sent a simple query and next minute, I had a call from her in an aggressive tone, seems she was agitated for my questions). She was so rude and was not even listening. A week later, I called again. Angela picked up the phone and she canr help but given me a condescending comments. I just saw another person has a same experience with Angela. The question is why Devon kept employing such a rude employee in a very competitive real-estate market. After all, we paid the money to do their services?

I rang and asked for a quote for settlement of my property. Woman on phone was almost rude asking what relationship I had with them, and other questions. Just felt really unwelcome. She said she would have it emailed to me but I never received any communications from them.
