Australia Post - Secret Harbour LPO

I've always been a bit critical of this post office but today I've had an experience worth mentioning. I had to complete a passport for my daughter I arrived at 4.45 they were busy and I got to the register at 4.50. The owner said wait to the side and he will get it sorted he served a few customers with quick sales first then helped me. Halfway along we realised id forgotten the old passport. He offered to stay open until I got back. By the time I left the store it was 5.30 half hour past closing. 4 stars not 5 because I agree the store is a bit cluttered and from previous experiences.

I have absolutely no idea why everyone is complaining about this place, I have used this post office for the better part of 7 years and have never ever had an issue with the staff nor the services they've provided. Maybe everyone else needs to stop being a Karen.

Worst post office.nThe smell of Incense/essential in oils is overwhelming. The store is so cluttered, it's impossible to navigate a pram without knocking something over.nStaff member picking up my phone without permission, then not sanitising her hands after. Not really okay.nI also went to buy a stuffed toy but it smelled so strong of whatever's being diffused that I couldn't bring it home to a child with allergies and sensory issues. Please rethink how strongly the store smells, it's off-putting.

Negative 1000000000000000000 stars if possible.nnThis is the single worst post office in all of Perth. The customer service staff don’t know the basics. I am certain this is a franchise store, every genuine Aus. Post accepts my post app as id for collecting parcels except this one, they argue with you even though you have genuine id, that you need additional things and are very difficult to deal with.nnShowing the staff, the app your customer id all your information etc. your parcels id’s etc. all there, they can’t navigate it and don’t know what they are looking at. Aside from this it’s hard to use your phone in this store as the internet mystically disappears, so logging into things like my gov or the dmv is out of the question to show your ID your even your bank. It’s just plain old like physical copies of everything or nothing at all. My driver license still has my maiden on it anyways, I doubt they would have accepted it as does my passport, so what they are saying is I need my passport along with my marriage cert to pick up parcels that are mine because they can’t accept my ID has been checked my Aus. Post through the app, even though they should by all accounts.nnI have since changed location where my parcel will be dropped off and even though its 5 KM out of my way, I’m happy to do it just avoid this horrid store.
