Amcal+ Pharmacy Deception Bay

After driving around to multiple pharmacies (Discount drug store, Chemist warehouse etc) where I was simply told that my regular medication was unavailable and to try elsewhere... the pharmacist here at Amcal Deception Bay went above and beyond and took time to explain to me the manufacturer supply issue with medication and offered to ring my doctor to sort out an alternative in the interim until supply resumes to Australia. I was very grateful for his time as the shop was busy but that didn't stop good old fashion service which I found refreshing! So thank you and I would be more than happy to shop here in the future!

11/8/20 I popped in to get something to help an upset tummy, I looked around for some stuff and was disappointed that the only way I could get help was to go up to the counter. I was helped by Jinsuk who took me through the benefits of the different products after asking me some questions. Going by her uniform I believe I had one of the pharmacist instead of staff member. I was very appreciative of the time and information shared by Jinsuk. As I ended up buying a product that fixed the upset tummy but I can also use the product proactively.

Very expensive compared to Chemist Warehouse. I just paid $16.75 more for 2 pharmacy products here than I would have paid if I went to Chemist Warehouse:(

I came into this Pharmacy after school drop off this morning and I am so happy with the service! I was greeted by a lovely lady at the front as I walked in, and the staff member that served me at the counter was very knowledgeable. Although the pharmacy was very busy at the time, I was impressed by the prompt service. Will be coming back.
