New Vision Centre

I had laser eye surgery with Dr Morlet in 2011. It corrected my vision a little, but I still need glasses or contacts to drive, or to see anything far away, and now due to the changed surface of my eye, my contacts won't ever feel comfortable and my eyes are always dry. I tried to attend the follow up appointment after the surgery in 2012 and the office had gone and no one was answering the phone. I tracked Dr Morlet down in 2017 to see if there was anything he could do or if it would get better. He agreed it wasn't great but it was as it was meant to be and the only thing he suggested was I pay again for another lot of surgery, but my dry eyes would probably get worse.

The laser vision correction surgery I got 6 months ago caused me to experience loss of night vision, which cannot be corrected with glasses. So overall, my vision got worse by having this surgery. Before the surgery all I had to was wear glasses to have perfect vision, day or night, now I’m stuck without night vision with no possible way of correcting it. I also have really dry eyes daily now. Wish I never got this surgery. What’s worse is that the Dr didn’t really care tbh...

It was a simple and easy process and I'm so glad I got it done! No more glasses; no troubling side effects :) Dr Morlet was very professional and knowledgeable and the procedure took less than 10 minutes ! Although initially blurry; in a darkened room I knew I could already see better than previously. It took about 5-10 days before I could confidently drive and has improved to the point where I don't even remember needing glasses :) Early on some nights I would go to bed and go to take my glasses off before remembering that I don't need them anymore! Highly recommend to anyone considering it. :) Money well spent !

My partner had corrective vision surgery here and now she is trying to get it re-corrected with another ophthalmologist and Dr Morlet is refusing to hand over over her surgery records, making it impossible for the new ophthalmologist to re-correct her vision. One minute Dr Morlet says he has them, the next he “doesn’t”. We have been calling his rooms for months with no resolve.
