We needed emergency accommodation on the Easter public holiday weekend, the somerset came through with the goods!!nBudget rooms, but clean and all necessities provided and available. Full bar and restaurant in the main building. Very convenient!

Enjoyed a tasty lunch today, friendly staff and a good atmosphere, quite busy but didn't have to wait long. Reasonable prices and good food

As locals who eat here fairly regularly we can tend to take it for granted. It's not until we go on holiday and order a pubmeal pretty much anywhere else in Australia that we realise how good we have it in Millicent with the Somerset. The steaks are worth bragging to your interstate friends about, and the schnitzels are a great feed. We find the service always friendly and accommodating. The recent renovations are a definite plus, and I love the fact that we can dine in peace without having Sports TV in our face.nWe do miss the yummy salad bar since covid19 restrictions and look forward to when it comes back.nWell done to all involved in providing a consistent, enjoyable dining experience for the locals

Usually the schnitzels at the Somerset are pretty good but I must say the last one I had was ordinary. There was no crunch in the coating and it took a bit of cutting to get through it. The chips were nice but overall the meal was a bit disappointing this time. I will go again as it’s a nice pub and usually the food is good.

Yay for multi flavored Recorderlig cider. This place pretty much has it all. Or most of it.
