A great thing to experience during your stay at Uluru (and one of the cheaper options for those on a budget!). The lights were spectacular, and the staff were incredible, especially those who were working for the very first time that night! A special shout out to staff members Erin, Tim and Des who made sure we were comfortable all night
Good experience on the whole, including the lookout over the lights before the walk around the lights. The lights need a full sunset to come on. They're great to look at with the stars above.nnThe walk itself is limited to 45min, which was quick. Toilets were not clean.
You just have to go see this. It looks fantastic from above but it looks even more amazing down below. Guides were young and full of enthusiasm. I will never forget it.
I was extremely disappointed with this company as on our email they said that pickup would be between 5:30 and 6am however we were ready at 5:30 and the company had already left without trying to contact all 5 of us to see where we were. Please change the details of your email and try not to leave people behind as we paid a lot for this experience. After missing the bus and no way of contacting the driver or the company we decided to walk 40mins to the field of lights and we did and we made it there with google map. No apologies were made and the team seemed frustrated with us for making our own way there.nnApart from that, sunrise was beautiful and we did enjoy coffee and cookies after the cold morning walk.
Good exhibit but we went in the evening when it was already dark which was not ideal. If you can, go when the sun is setting because with some light in the sky there is more definition. Because this installation is in a basically flat area it is hard to get any decent perspective of it. While this is I believe the original installation, Munro's exhibition in California in 2019 was much better.
