Prior to my appointment I ensured that the colour I wanted was doable for my hair and hair colour, and on the day of my appointment I confirmed with the hair stylist that it is still doable as I know it can be difficult with different hair types.nHowever during my appointment they proceeded to colour my hair completely different to what I showed or at least expected in case of failure. I showed them a light lilac colour and I ended up with a chestnut brown with purple tint and when I requested a retouch they instead made it much darker brown with purple tint. The purple tint ended up fading out on the same day without even washing my hair after the appointment.nThis is something I would expect from a $5 box dye, not a $480 appointment at a professional salon that specialises in asian, my, hair type.nI would not recommend this place for a lighter shade or bleaching. I would recommend another salon with stylists who don’t rush the bleaching process.nn1 extra star because they were polite.

Absolutely amazing. I had Rosie as a stylist and was a little nervous going in, as I wanted to get some long layers in my hair and hadn't had them done in years - plus, I had never tried this salon before. But they were so friendly, warm and accommodating, and when I told Rosie what I was after she knew exactly what I was looking for. The recommendations she gave me on the cut, care and styling was proof enough that she really knew what she was talking about! The cut was incredible - so well blended and textured, not choppy at all - and she really paid attention to detail, taking her time to get the perfect cut. It didn't feel rushed at all, and I was so impressed with the experience. My new favourite salon and stylist - they've earned a new loyal customer, definitely recommend!

I've been going to dj's for 3 years now and I have never gone to anyone else for colouring my hair. Nozomi is my colourist and she is just amazing. She got me from jet black to blonde in one session without killing my hair (we used olaplex and she consulted with me before going for the bleach!). I highly recommend these guys, they are experts especially because my hair type is challenging and they will be honest with you! I love nozomi I don't think I'll ever change colourists, I've had lighter hair for 3 plus years and it's not damaged at all! Thank guys, can't wait to see you guys in a month :)
