Gaden Trout Hatchery

A beautiful ambiance. The area is so peaceful and quiet with lovely picnic area.nWe went on the tour of the hatchery. The guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions put to him.nWe watched a short introductory video before we were taken around the hatching ponds.nAn educational experience. Recommend you visit

Wonderful location and scenery! The walking track was also enjoyable (but I didn't go too far as the total walk is 34km, or so I'm told)nnI did the tour and the tour guide was excellent and very informative! Plus seeing the manic frenzy of the fish when they were being fed was a sight to behold! The history of the locale and the fish was also interesting. Overall a very fun outing!

It's a beautiful place and the picnic area has amazing view. A great escape for me from the heat of my tent at Holiday park. Take a nap under the sky surrounded by golden trees and river.

A blue trout! What on earth! Beautiful place to visit. Some amazing fish to see. It is exactly as advertised. Do be prepared as it can get windy.
