Coombabah Lake Conservation Park

Beautiful conservation area with an abundance of bird life and kangaroos.nA good 2-3 hrs is needed to get around the track. Pack your mosquito repellent because they are in large numbers in certain areas.

Beautiful and fairly easy walking trail. It's a family friendly trail where you can take kids too. Lot of kangaroos, some koalas.nThere are lot of mosquitoes so consider having a repellent.

Beautiful place to see kangaroos and koalas in the wild.nnBe sure to use mosquito repellent if it has been raining in the last few days! Also, don't bother taking the management trails, there is generally nothing to see down there.

Use to go to this spot all the time with my Grandparents, and still do it’s a great trail for bike riding lots of things to see. This place used to be very quiet but is now gaining in popularity. Please respect the Kangaroos and don’t get too close, and don’t be noisy around the Koalas.

I enjoyed my walk there with a friend. We didn't see any koalas but did see some kangaroos. My fridge head been there before so basically knew her way around but you could get lost so take a map. A few days after we had walked a couple of female walkers had a bad experience when they were exposed to by a male in the area. It was reported to the police so best to walk with a friend if female.
