On the whole, this was a spectacular site to visit (via snorkeling). I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Cairns (go and see one of the world's natural wonders). I will just say though, do your research as to which tour company you use. Whilst our day was quite enjoyable, there were a few minor details which would prevent me from suggesting the particular company I used. The meeting point for this tour was at the Cairns boat harbour (with plenty of parking available). We then took a 1.5 hour boat ride until we reached our destination. Once in the water I was able to view some incredible sights. All the various coloured coral, all the various fish. It is a must see (I would even suggest scuba diving as you will see oh so much more). The fish didn't seemed too phased that we were there, watching them live their lives in their habitat. I have never seen a sight like it. I would definitely recommend to every one, but as I said, do your research into tour companies.
