Good history to learn

An excellent museum, though small. It's well laid out with a lot of interesting information about the various artifacts and very interesting stories about the maritime history of WA and the Dutch & English explorers like Dirk Hartog, Vlamingh, Captain Cook and Matthew Flinders. The highlight is the preserved timbers of the 1629 Batavia wreck. The entry is by donation, so please do so. There are also toilets here.

Great little museum, lots of recovered sunken treasure. A ship engine, video displays, and reconstructed section of the Batavia (pictured), plus cargo and even a skeleton. Entry is donation - $5 if you pay with paypass on the way out. They provide hand sanitiser and a temp checker on entry. Well worth the visit.

Well worth a visit. Content is well layed out with exhibitions presented as stories to follow as you move through the museum

Love just ambling around this place... peaceful and interesting. Always worth a donation too as they don't charge for entry.
