Fremantle Library was next to the Fremantle football oval. I didn't realise to use this landmark to locate the library. It took me a long time to find the library. On arrival to the library, the Librarian was helpful & friendly, she advised me of online resources & issue me a library card too. I have already registered online, quick & an easy process. I would recommend new members to use the online facilities. They are excellent services.
Very helpful staff and good selection of books, but the building is small and not very welcoming.
The only upside to this library is the staff, they are very pleasant and helpful. The library has been significantly downsized from the old town hall library and is very cramped and the access for disabled people is a disgrace. I can't wait until it moves to the new Kings Square Development and hopefully the council can bring the library back to its glory days and make it inclusive for ALL the residents of the shire !
Staff support is excellent
Small and out of the way set with other council buildings. Small grassed area and footy oval, food and drink available near by.
