We have experienced terrible customer service. For over 3 months ( A job we were told would be fixed in 2 weeks) we have had a faulty alarm system in which ADT have continued to charge a monitoring fee while we have no working alarm.nI phoned ADT several times to lodge an official complaint and no one has even bothered to contact me in 3 months.nWe have been inconvenienced 4 times by them sending 4 different individuals to our home with no outcome of a working alarm and no clue on why our alarm was not working. We were also left with a nice hole in the ceiling.nADT did not communicated with us what would be happening with our alarm or even an estimated time it would be fixed.nThey have no consistency as they keep transferring you from one department to another with no one being able to give us any answers.nEveryone we spoke to would drop the blame on another department.nI am so disappointed with the service we received from ADT, you would think they would have better customer service or respect for long standing customers.nFinally we had a tradesman Paul come to our house and knew what the issue was with our alarm and fixed it. Thank you Paul for your efficiency. We finally feel safe at home again after 3 months.

In December 2020, we received a message from ADT. They stated that, I may, “………. Terminate The Agreement on 30 days’ notice ………, ADT will waive your obligation to pay both the ‘Exit Fee’ and ‘Decommissioning Fee’ upon termination of the Agreement, ……….”.nA further message (dated 4 days later) stated that the fees will rise on 1 February.nOn 10 January, I sent a written (as required by ADT) message, to Terminate the Contract as at 28 February. This is in excess of the required 30 days’ notice. I would have expected an acknowledgement but received nothing.nSince that time, I have sent numerous messages to ADT. Not one has been replied to.nConversely, ADT have contacted by phone) us several times, demanding payment. On the last occasion, they left a voice mail message, asking us to return their call. This we did. During the conversation, we were twice ‘mysteriously cut-off’. It was left to us to ring back twice more. This was expected because, after all, we (supposedly) owed them money.nAll of this culminated in ADT allowing us to cancel the contract on payment of ‘arrears’ and Termination Fee’. Thank you very much ADT.nDespite all of this, we have note received even a single apology.nThe lessons to be learned from this story are: -n-tDon’t trust ADT;n-tDon’t believe their promises;n-tIf you do deal with ADT, make certain everything is in writing and you understand it;n-tDon’t expect any customer service from ADT;n-tDon’t expect ADT to own any of their mistakes or give an apology.nAbove all, don’t have anything to do with ADT Security. All they’re interested in is payment for their service(?).

Mercy has been our go to person for alarm systems since we bought our first house. The response time is so quick and the service is very good. I will recommend ADT to any one.

Grant and Clint attended site on time, they were very friendly, showed me how to navigate the system and answered all my questions. They installed CCTV and alarm system. Very happy with their service.

Clint installed the security system. We are very happy with the service provided. Very professional and he explained how the system works.nnI will highly recommend Clint
