Mady and the boys provided such an uplifting and captivating contribution to Dandenong World Fare yesterday. It was wonderful to have Super Mande back and we just love the energy you added. That drumming, just WOW! We look forward to working with you at future events.

Abli ran such a fabulous workshop for our playgroup. The kids and the adults alike had a great time. Really good energy!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Mande and Kofi from Super Mande Percussion come and perform at our community event in Ashwood. What started as a performance, then morphed into a drumming workshop, group singalong and dance-a-thon- no small feat!! The professionalism and patience of the group was very much appreciated by us! We had Super Mande Percussion perform at Clayton Festival on Sunday 23 February. The group is vibrant, engaging and easy to work with. Their communication was efficient and effective. The performance was excellent and the music was infectious. A great group to engage with for an event or festival.

I strongly recommend Mady Keita, should anyone wish to make a Djembe. He is very knowledgeable in the art of crafting African drums. I took a ‘one-on-one’ Djembe making course with him. The final product is worth much more than what you can get in a shop and he also gives free introductory lessons. The environment is very casual and relaxed. Mady is very patient, helpful, and pays attention to detail. I walked away as a very satisfied customer. I would also highly recommend Mady, should you need to ‘re-skin’ a drum. He does more than just re-skin. In the process, he checks for any defects in the drum and repairs them (e.g. fills up cracks) and replaces parts, if required, (e.g. strings, rings etc.), at no extra costs. I was there to witness it. Very impressed by the pride and care he took to restore the drums. Do yourself a favor, check him out!
