Always a vibrant marketplace (even in the rain). I'm always astounded by the displays of talent and creativity. There's something for everyone. Lots of fresh locally produced produce too. And the village of Yungaburra is a delightful place, all within walking distance of the markets.

A vibrant scene on a rainy day. So many interesting crafts and fresh produce. The eateries were many with great locally grown coffee.

Great markets with a decent variety of stalls plus some buskers and the like, both young and old, singing and playing music to lift the vibe.nParking was a bit of an issue because of the popularity of these markets which are run on the 4th Saturday morning of every month, except in December when it's held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.nThey had the usual types of stalls, including local woodworkers, coffee stalls, some fresh produce, as well as some Christian crusaders for good measure!nI would have liked to see some more food stalls or food vans, but all in all I was glad I went and would happily visit again. Yungaburra is a reasonable sized little town and would be a decent base for exploring the region. If you have a moment after visiting the markets, try the walk along the western bank of Peterson Creek which you can access under the bridge next to the platypus viewing platform (where naturally I didn't see any of these elusive mammals!)

Wonderful market with a wide variety of stalls. Plenty of parking nearby only problem I could see was that it was a bit up and down for older people or those with mobility problems.

Exactly all that you hope for in a local family friendly and exclusive creative country town. The love of making their markets beautiful and accessible for all ages and types of people is incredible. So friendly. So sunny on the tablelands. If you come to the far north, come to yungaburra and come for a markets! There is public toilets just outskirts of the markets. A wonderful township which has a park with huge shady tropical trees! And the second toilet (sometimes their are huge queues!) is opposite the butcher and groceries shop. If you stay a while yungaburra is quite the cultural and beautiful Aussie experience. And here is where the makers really shine! They are all of high quality! Always such a beautiful mountain drive. Go early yet plenty of parking! Bring reusable bags for all your goodies! And a hat! The sun is gorgeous!
