Broadbeach Thai Massage

This is Thai proper massage which I have been found, best massage ever

I booked for a 1 hr Thai massage, and upon arriving was barely greeted at the door, then told to sit and wait by someone I couldn't see. I waited a few minutes to then be told by a European lady that I was having a deep tissue massage. I asked her what my options were (considering I hadn't been consulted), but it turned out that she couldn't really explain them to me. I ended up going for the deep tissue despite being interested in the slightly cheaper Thai mixed massage. The European lady turned out to be the massage therapist. The massage itself was quite average - probably a 3-3.5/5. She meant well, but clearly wasn't doing a Thai massage. I had to point out that her fingernails were digging into my skin at certain points, and also had to ask for extra pressure (it was supposed to be deep tissue, and for much of it felt like a relaxation massage). This therapist clearly hasn't had much training, and certainly not in Thai massage. For what it's worth, I have Thai massages very frequently at some of the better, more authentic Thai massage places in Sydney, and this wasn't close. During most of the massage, the other Thai massage therapists were sitting in the front room talking, constantly. It wasn't loud but it was constant for over half an hour. It turned out they were watching something on their phone together and talking about it. Not very professional if you ask me. In summary - if you're looking for a good solid, strong, experienced Thai massage don't go here. Overall, the experience was a 3/5, and while average enough, I wouldn't go back. I feel like going and getting a real massage somewhere now.

Great service, great massage, friendly staff. I had a deep tissue massage, the masseuse was excellent, she found and worked on every muscle knot with care and sufficient pressure. I have had traditional massages in Thailand and this was a text book equivalent. I can highly recommend Broadbeach Thai Massage.
