Royal Thai massage @ Q1

My husband & I had massages there and we were both very disappointed. Firstly, my masseuse did not come into the room for at least 10 mins after she was supposed to, I just laid there waiting for her. She should have gone on 10mins longer but she did not(but then again, was not really much of a massage).The massage was soft, just someone rubbing oil on you. She didn't even ask about what pressure I wanted. When you see Royal Thai massage, you expect a Thai person to massage you, or that quality of massage, quite deceiving especially for the price. Also when you book for a couple you should have a couples room. However my husband did enjoy his facial but that's all. We have massages very regularly & this was probably one of the worst. Sorry, I know this sounds harsh but that was our experience.

Terrible massage experience. Make the complaint to customer service, the lady even told the lie, we didn’t ask anything! ( picture) unacceptable!! The local lady doesn’t know what is she doing, won’t ask you the pressure, didn’t even talk🙄️ We talk to another lady (not local) who work there, she was very sorry about her co-worker has done a terrible job, but she is not the owner so can’t deal anything. I hope the owner can respond us ASAP thank you.

Had a massage here 2 weeks ago and it was the worst massage I’ve ever had. The lady who massaged me was so terrible and soft that I fell asleep after 5 minutes I woke up an hour later when she asked me to turn over. She didn’t even ask me at the start if I had any sore areas or if it was hard enough. At first I thought she was just warming up taking her time but she never got out of first gear. I was so disappointed. My wife also spoke to the lady who we thought was the manager and she said she would help us work something out. but after they didn’t want to do anything and blamed us after we contacted Groupon. This place is hard to get into and they are very busy so I think they don’t really care about the customers who come in on Groupon I would definitely avoid this place and I would recommend Burleigh heads massage it is 100 times better and the prices are similar l. Such a bad experience 😑😴

I don't get massages very often as I tend to be a little self-conscious but I am so glad I booked in here because my therapist Renata was so professional and a great therapist as well. Best massage I've ever had and I was able to fully relax without self-conscious thoughts. Will visit again next time I am on the Gold Coast.
